Tucson, AZ, WPH Press, 7/29/19- The WPH is thrilled to announce the 12-event 2019/20 Race 4 Eight IX tour schedule, featuring five Race 4 Eight full stops, four R48LTE stops, and four R48 Pre Qualifiers.
The tour will kick off in Atlanta for the third consecutive year, as Lance Wachholz and e4 roll out the red carpet for the R48 Men’s Pro at the RecreationATL. TheWR48 and the SR48 will kickoff their seasons at the 2019 Tucson Memorial, joining the R48 Men’s Pros in the WPH’s backyard.
The WR48 will be in action for the second WR48 event of the season in February in New Orleans (Mardi Gras), while the SR48 will also compete in their second event of the season in February, as the 40+ pros head to the Steel City (RFC 12). The R48 Men’s Pro, WR48, and SR48 will conclude their seasons at the Aces Player’s Championship in Salt Lake City in May, as the game’s best will aim to hoist the coveted WPH Aces Player’s Championship Belts.
The tour will also feature Race 4 Eight full stops in Montana (Red Death) and Houston (Texas State Doubles), R48LTE stops in Portland (Portland Classic), New Orleans (Mardi Gras), and Pittsburgh (RFC 12), as well as R48 Pre Qualifiers in Pittsburgh (RFC 11), Tucson, Austin (Texas State Championships), and Los Angeles (LAAC).
“We are so excited to showcase the game’s best men’s, women’s, and senior pros during the ninth Race 4 Eight season,” stated WPH Executive Director Dave Vincent. “We are returning to a number of tremendous venues and we always look forward to the tremendous local support and sensational play.”
