Team JR WPH is so fortunate to have the support of so many of handball’s greatest players and coaches giving back to the game. The selflessness of so many of handball’s greatest supporters enables JR WPH to host clinics across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Ireland each year, providing youngsters with the opportunity to learn from handball’s greatest minds.
Each JR WPH clinic and program focuses on fun, camaraderie, friendships, skill-building, and competition, while aiming to introduce a physically active and healthy lifestyle through handball.

David Fink
David Fink is the WPH Master Instructor, overseeing all of the clinics and coaches in JR WPH. Coach Fink reached number one on the Race 4 Eight tour and 3-Wall Icebreaker Series and brings a lifetime of handball experience to JR WPH. Coach Fink has coached hundreds of JR WPH clinics, while organizing thousands of JR WPH clinics across the world. John A. Bike
Jab Bike is a multi-generational handball star who is as motivated to climb to the top of the Race 4 Eight tour as he is growing the game. Jab serves as the Race 4 Eight tour’s pro player representative, in addition to one of the most active JR WPH coaches. Coach Jab has hosted numerous clinics in Southern California, often winning events and jumping right back into the court to inspire the next generation of players. Leo Canales
2025 WPH Sportsmanship Award Winner Leo Canales is a favorite amongst his peers and fans, always playing with tremendous poise and class. Coach Canales brings those qualities to the court during his coaching sessions, always making the game fun for his students. Coach Leo teamed with Coach Martin Mulkerrins for a JR WPH collegiate clinic at the George Lee HERE
Marcos Chavez
One of the most well-liked Race 4 Eight pros in history, Coach Marcos has humbly transitioned to the role of elder statesman in the game. Coach Marcos has proudly founded DigiFlex, making all of the WPH’s handball gear and sponsoring several of the game’s up-and-coming pros. Coach Marcos also serves as a JR WPH Coach at a number of tournaments in Southern California, teaching the flare and style that made him one of the game’s greats. Read more about DigiFlex HERE
Daniel Cordova
Daniel Cordova is a fan-favorite wherever he plays, as Danos possesses the smoothest strokes on the Race 4 Eight tour. Coach Daniel is equally regarded by his students at the University of Texas, where Danos serves as a coach for the University of Texas (Austin) handball team, coaching weekly JR WPH clinics and lessons for the aspiring UT players. Rodney Fink
Rodney Fink has been of the WPH’s most generous supporters since the inception of the WPH in 2009, hosting tournaments, donating, and serving as a JR WPH coach. Coach Fink has coached hundreds of players during his 50+ years in handball, including former Race 4 Eight #1 David Fink. Coach Fink continues to proudly serve as a JR WPH Coach, conducting a JR WPH collegiate handball clinic at the 2026 Mid America Regional Championships/Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier HERE
Nick Flores
Coach Flores is one of the WPH’s most passionate supporters, working as the Race 4 Eight Rankings Director, while also serving as the Head Coach of JR WPH Pacific Northwest. Coach Flores organizes many of the PNW’s biggest tournaments each year, also coaching a JR WPH clinic in between his duties as tournament director. Niamh Heffernan
JR WPH was thrilled to welcome 2025 and 2026 Stalsberg Cup champion Niamh Heffernan as a JR WPH Coach in 2026. Coach Niamh possesses extensive knowledge on fitness, cross-training, and of course, winning Race 4 Eight titles. Coach Niamh will be a frequent contributor to the WPH website, social media pages, and YouTube page, proving content for handball players to improve their technique, while creating training programs for junior handball players. Coach Niamh will also coach JR WPH clinics at Race 4 Eight events.
Chris Hogan
Coach Chris Hogan leads one of the country’s largest high school handball programs at Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix. Coach Chris regularly hosts 60 high school handball players at lunch each day, often organizing singles and doubles tournaments to inspire the players. Coach Hogan invites JR WPH coaches to attend and support the Carl Hayden lunch handball, with the JR WPH coaches sharing tips to help the high school players to elevate their games. In addition to the school handball, Coach Hogan takes his players to various 3-Wall and 4-Wall tournaments in Phoenix and Tucson to inspire the high school players to become lifetime handball players. Aoife Holden
Aoife Holden is not only one of the sport’s greatest players, having advanced to three WR48 finals in four WR48 starts during the 2025/26 Race 4 Eight season and winning the 2026 USHA Four Wall Nationals, but she is also one of the sport’s most devoted coaches. Coach Aoife serves as a JR WPH Coach at San Angelo University, leading by example and serving as a role model and inspiration to the San Angelo University handball team. Jean Kastner
Jean Kastner has long been one of the Pacific Northwest’s top women’s players and Team JR WPH has been thrilled to have Coach Jean on Team JR WPH. Coach Jean recently teamed with JR WPH Coaches Nick Flores and Che Lowenstein in hosting an outstanding clinic at 2026 Oregon State Singles HERE
Che Lowenstein
Che Lowenstein serves as the lead videographer for all WPH broadcasts, carrying a nearly 50-pound camera for twelve hours a day. Che had never played handball before working for the WPH, but quickly became hooked, first playing then becoming a JR WPH Coach. Coach Che coaches his son at national tournaments, while coaching JR WPH Clinics in the Pacific Northwest, to include the JR WPH Clinics at the 2025 Oregon State Singles HERE
Diarmuid Mulkerrins
Diarmuid Mulkerrins is one of the game’s most passionate players and supporters, moving from Ireland to Texas to play on the Race 4 Eight tour and grow the sport at San Angelo University. Coach Mulkerrins spends countless hours per week coaching the San Angelo Handball Club, traveling with his players to numerous tournaments across Texas, to include the JR WPH Randolph Cup, while also rebuilding the handball courts at San Angelo University. Martin Mulkerrins
Martin Mulkerrins is a two-time Stalsberg Cup champion for finishing number one on the Race 4 Eight season and proudly serves as a JR WPH Coach, sharing his knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion with the next generation of handball players. Coach Martin has traveled the world promoting handball; building courts in Africa and inspiring junior and collegiate handball players in the U.S., Ireland, and beyond. Ciana Ni Churraoin
JR WPH was thrilled to welcome Ciana Ni Churraoin as a JR WPH Coach in 2026. Coach CNC possesses extensive knowledge on fitness, nutrition, sports psychology, and of course, winning world handball championships. Coach CNC will be a frequent contributor to the WPH website, social media pages, and YouTube page, proving content for handball players to become more fit. Coach CNC will also coach JR WPH clinics at Race 4 Eight events.
Vic Perez
Known as Mr. Consistency during his decade plus run in the Race 4 Eight Elite, Coach Vic has assumed the role as JR WPH mentor, leader, hero, and coach to so many junior players in Southern California. Coach Vic was awarded with the 2025 WPH Leadership and Bravery Award for his life-saving skills as a firefighter, and JR WPH is honored to include a real-life hero on Team JR WPH. Coach Vic has inspired junior handball players with tours of his firehouse, coached a number of JR WPH clinics, and organized several handball tournaments each year. Alberto Pizano
One of WPH Outdoor’s most dynamic superstars, Albert Pizano is always thrilled to give back to the game as a JR WPH Coach. Coach Pizano regularly mentors players in the Phoenix area, while also visiting Phoenix’s Carl Hayden High School to coach the large group of 3-Wall players. Ray Ure
The 2026 Race 4 Eight Player’s Champion Ray Ure generously shares his passion for the game with juniors, coaching JR WPH Clinics at Race 4 Eight events and Icebreaker events. Coach Ure is a hero to virtually everyone who has ever played handball, particularly to the junior players who aim to Play like Ray. Shane Vigen
Canada’s Shane Vigen has been one of Canada’s top players since 2008, always appearing in the later stages of the Canadian National Championships and other important tournaments in the Great White North. Ryan Watkins
Ryan Watkins is a relentless supporter of the WPH, serving as the Head of WPH Social Media and assisting the growth of the WPH in all of the areas he can. One of those areas is as a JR WPH Coach, where Coach Pups has led the LAAC Summer Camp handball program, introducing the game to dozens of youngsters each summer. Naty Alvarado, Jr.
Coach Tigre is a legend of the game and has served as a JR WPH, inspiring the game’s future stars with his blend of class, professionalism, and of course, the best technique in the history of the sport. Naty Alvarado, Jr. leads the JR WPH Portland Clinic HERE
John Bike, Jr.
Hall of famer and former R48 and SR48 pro John Bike was one of JR WPH’s first coaches, always inspiring the next generation with his legendary reputation and unmatched handball acumen.
Ryan Bowler
Canada’s first JR WPH, Ryan Bowler inspired a nation with his play and the next generation with his willingness to coach JR WPH clinics whenever asked.
Killian Carroll
23-time Race 4 Eight champion Killian Carroll has been one of the game’s most selfless players, always willing to coach clinics, answer Q & A’s, and jump into the court with junior players. Coach Killian has coached numerous JR WPH clinics at many of the Race stops in which he has attended, while also competing in the 2019 Los Cab JR WPH pro/junior doubles. Catriona Casey
The Race 4 Eight’s greatest champion with 29 WR48 titles has also served as one of the game’s most respected coaches. Coach Casey lived in Tucson in the summer of 2014 to coach more than one hundred junior clinics. Coach Catriona has also coached JR WPH clinics at numerous Race stops during her illustrious career, always making the game fun for the junior players. Lucho Cordova

Danielle Daskalakis
Coach Danielle led the JR WPH Harry Mellis junior handball program for many years in New York City, coaching hundreds of juniors during each Harry Mellis season at the Westside YMCA in Manhattan. In addition to coaching the JR WPH Harry Mellis junior handball, handball’s cross-over superstar has led clinics throughout the U.S. and in Europe. Tracy Davis
Handball hall of famer Tracy Davis played an integral part in growing JR WPH, leading dozens of junior handball clinics in Tucson and throughout the U.S. Coach Tracy is revered in every corner of the handball globe and inspired so many young people through her humility, fitness, and passion for our game. Richie Estrella

Richie Fernandez
Known in handball circles as “Drft,” Coach Richie led the hugely successful JR WPH Juarez program that produced many of the game’s top juniors and eventual Race 4 Eight pros. Veronica Figueroa
Coach V has hosted several of JR WPH’s largest events, as Ms. V has served as the tournament director for New York’s annual St. John’s WallBall Association & JR WPH Classic in Brooklyn. The event featured more than 100 junior players in each edition, earning Ms. V the esteemed 2017 WPH Volunteer of the Year award HERE
Timbo Gonzalez

Samzon Hernandez

Jonathan Iglesias

Aoife McCarthy
A former top 5 WR48 pro, Aoife McCarthy has also served as one of the game’s most respected coaches. Coach McCarthy lived Tucson in the summer of 2014 to coach more than one hundred junior clinics, while also serving as one of the JR WPH coaches at the Las Vegas 3WallBall World Championships. Mike Morgan
Coach Morgan proudly served as one of collegiate handball’s top coaches at the University of West Florida, building powerhouse teams that traveled to tournaments across the Southeast and to the USHA Collegiate Nationals each year. Emmett Peixoto
Former Race 4 Eight #2 pro served as one of JR WPH’s first coaches, leading the Olympic Club junior handball program for a number of years, and joining JR WPH on the road for dozens of clinics across the U.S. and Canada.
