Pittsburgh Hosts the WPH RFC 11 R48Pro IX Pre Qualifier/1 Wall Singles: Jul 13-14

Pittsburgh, PA, WPH Press- The World Players of Handball is thrilled to present the longest running WPH event, the WPH’s Rodney Fink Classic 11, July 13-14, 2019 at L.A. Fitness Bridgeville, 1155 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017 and Amerifit, 100 Roessler Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15220.

The RFC 11 will feature the first 2019/20 R48 9 Pre Qualifier of the season, with the highest finisher in the RFC 11 not ranked inside the R48 8 Elite 8 receiving a R48 main draw direct entry and a travel stipend to the 2019/20 R48 9 Atlanta (October 4, 2019).

The RFC 11 will also feature 1-Wall small ball singles on Sunday, July 14, 4-Wall B singles, 4-Wall Playoff singles, as well as JR WPH junior handball clinics.

The RFC will feature non-stop hospitality and a Saturday night party!

“The RFC is the highlight of the year in Pittsburgh handball,” stated Pittsburgh’s #1 star Mike Semplice. “We are so fortunate to have the best players in the world coming through Pittsburgh for the eleventh consecutive year at the WPH’s RFC.”

WPH RACE 4 EIGHT: The World Players of Handball’s 2019/20 Race 4 Eight 9 Powered by ESPN features R48 stops in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Oregon, Montana, Louisiana, Texas, New York, Texas, California, and Utah, all culminating with The Player’s Championship in Utah in May of 2020. Similar to Nascar’s Nextel Cup and the FedEx PGA Playoffs, players earn points in the Race 4 Eight’s regular season stops to qualify for the season-ending Player’s Championship and bonus prizes.
