WPH/ESPN R48Pro Broadcast Schedule: Feb 19 & 20, 2022 from Houston, Texas

The World Players of Handball Foundation, along with the Houston Handball Club, Tellepsen Family YMCA and ESPN bring you the 5th stop on the WPH R48Pro Tour (Season X) this weekend in Houston, Texas.

Play begins on Friday morning; however, ESPN film crews will bring handball across the ESPN digital platform via the WatchESPN App beginning Saturday at 10am Central.

Draws/brackets will be activated Friday morning (HERE).  The WPH will provide daily write-ups, after each day wraps, and …will be posted at wphlive.tv.

To watch handball, download the WatchESPN App or click the app on your Smart Device, Smart TV, Internet-ready Device, etc.  For those outside the ESPN Network, Patreon supporters of the WPH can watch a backdoor link at patreon.com/wphlive.  That link will be provided five minutes before game-time on Saturday and Sunday (10a CST & 9a CST, respectively).

Since its inception, the World Players of Handball has broadcast over 1,500 matches live. Dave Vincent serves as the lead play-by-play announcer for virtually all matches, combining his unique perspective and personality with a lifetime of handball experience. DV brings 25 years of broadcast radio experience (in Oregon and California) to World Players of Handball & ESPN broadcasts and provides professionalism and wit to the amazing game of handball. DV also serves as the Executive Director of the World Player of Handball at the WPH headquarters in Tucson, AZ, working daily to grow the game of handball through innovation.
