Enter NOW – Be a Part of History – Be at the 50th Annual Rudy Harris Handball Tournament: The 50th Rudy will be held October 2-3 (and October 4 if needed) at the YMCA Fercho Branch in Fargo, ND. In admission to competitive play, the tournament will feature an upgraded entry gift for registered players; a Friday Night Social that is free to all players, their guests, and all “Rudy Tournament Alumni”; a Saturday Night Banquet with good food, cold beverages, a raffle, and time to honor Rudy; and a commemorative three-season jacket that will be available to purchase. Rudy’s three children would like to be at the tournament to help us honor their Dad, so we want to make this one extra special – and you can help us do that by being there.

To guarantee you receive a high-quality long sleeve T-shirt entry gift in your size, entries must be received by 12:00pm (noon) on Tuesday, September 15, 2026!!! Late entries will be accepted until 12:00pm (noon) on Friday, September 25, 2026.
Let’s make this a historic, memorable tournament for Rudy’s family, all who remember him or have been told stories about him, and everyone who loves the game of handball!!! Even if you no longer play handball or are injured, come for the Friday Night Social and/or Saturday Night Banquet, watch the games, and swap handball stories and memories with other current and past handball players. Feel free to forward this email for others who may be interested in playing in “The Rudy” or have played in “The Rudy” in the past.
Photos for the 50th Annual Rudy Harris Handball Tournament: We would like to provide a slideshow at the 50th Annual Rudy Harris Handball Tournament banquet (see below), so we need pictures of Rudy and other “blast from the past” handball players! If you have any pictures of either Rudy Harris or old F-M Handball Club tournaments or events from back when we were all younger, skinnier, and/or wore “short shorts” (they were cool back then), please send them to Dee Jones by email jones@ymcanorthernsky.org or mail (Dee Jones, YMCA of the Northern Sky, 400 1st Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103). If you mail in printed pictures, we will scan them and mail them back to you.
