The WPH Coaching Center will continue to examine the various strategies and shots that will make you a better handball player, as this week’s WPH Coaching Center will examine Circuit Training to improve your agility and conditioning.

Circuit Training to your Footwork Pattern Practice

  • Sprints from back wall (or back line) to the front wall and back (sprints of 5, 10, 15, and 20 with 15, 30, and 45 second break intervals)
  • Line jumps (40-60 at a time)
  • V and X Drills (eight of each x 3)
  • Jump Rope (500 in a row)
  • Planks (45 seconds x 3)
  • Side shuffles from side wall to side wall (10 at a time x 3)
  • Jump lunges (6 sets of three)
  • Ladder
  • Cones
  • Self-practice (100 quality offense and defense shots)
  • Sit ups (40 sets of three)
