Overland Park’s Jewish Community Center played host to the 2024 Handballesta, featuring sixty-seven players traveling from Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, and Iowa.
Women’s Open Singles
The Women’s Open singles featured a clash between former WR48 finalists Clodagh Munroe and Suz Entzeroth in the final. Munroe continued her Midwest winning streak against the pride of St. Louis, defeating Suz in two games to take the “Esta.”

Men’s Open Singles
Minnesota State University Mankato’s Luis Mendez and Bryan Trejo battled their way to the Esta final with tiebreaker wins in the semifinals to play for Sunday’s Esta title. Trejo was too strong for Mendez in the final, winning the biggest open singles title of his young career.
