A message from Tournament Director, Matt Stalsberg (March 14th, 2016):

Good day to all and prepare yourselves for some competition of the highest level, not just Gary Scogin, but the (rest) best in the World coming to Salt Lake City, UT.  We have another fun tournament this year, while we will not be the final stop this year, we will be second to last of an incredible tour so far this year.  If you have not done so already, I encourage you to join the WPH and watch all the live action, the NYAC tourney last weekend was impressive.
Changes to tourney this year:
-Mens Pro only, WPH is pushing the Women and Seniors to Portland for the the last stop (same qualifier scenario as last year, qualifier does not count as a 3rd Aces division) You can only enter 2 Aces divisions with combination of Singles and Doubles only
-We have added 70+ singles this year, and broke the doubles divisions into Pro AM, 110 combined (min age 50) and 120 comb (min age 55).  As you can see we are hoping to get some of the Golden Masters back again.
-We have added $$$ 1st place price for Big Ball division, we anticipate some great players from California coming over
-We have reserved the Royal Bar upstairs on Friday night, they have live music and some good food.  http://www.theroyalslc.com/
-Crystal Inn is our sponsored hotel again this year and they have added light breakfast and dinner this year.  They will be able to provide shuttle service to the club and the Royal YOU NEED TO SCHEDULE WITH THEM.
-Qualifiers start at 9 am Friday and ACES starts at NOON.
-The Deweys mobile will provide a shuttle from the Crystall Inn to Aces party on Saturday night, we will have a sign in sheet at registration.
