WPH Icebreaker #7 (3 Wall) – Women’s Final

WPH Icebreakers #7: 3-Wall Small Ball Women’s Pro Singles

The WPH is proud to present the WPH Icebreaker #7, the seventh official WPH 3-Wall Singles Icebreakers since September of 2020.

“We want to show people that we can safely hold events with all of the COVID protocols in place,” stated WPH Executive Director David Vincent. “We allow a limited number of socially distant fans, while ensuring the players are distanced as much as possible. The Icebreaker is our way of “breaking the ice” during the pandemic and reintroducing pro handball to the world.”

The WPH Icebreaker #7 featured women’s stars Danielle Daskalakis, Tracy Davis, Ashley Moler, and Mikaila Mitchell competing at Tucson’s Clark Park in Tucson.

Women’s Final: Mikaila Mitchell vs. Ashley Moler

Mikaila Mitchell stunned the current 3-Wall national champion Danielle Daskalakis in one of the sport’s most astonishing upsets in the semifinals, while Ashley Moler overcame her longtime rival Tracy Davis in a semifinal tiebreaker to meet Mitchell in the final. Moler defeated Mitchell in the first Women’s Icebreaker. Could Mitchell turn the tables in their second Icebreaker clash?
