The Ice Bowl II: August 17-18, 2024 WPH 3-Wall Icebreaker Series

The WPH Ice Bowl is back, August 17-18, 2024 at Clark Park in Tucson, AZ! The Ice Bowl has become one of the most prestigious titles in outdoor handball, as the Ice Bowl champions are rewarded with a glass Ice Bowl after being cooled off with an ice shower.

2024 Ice Bowl divisions:

Men’s pro small ball singles

Men’s pro big ball singles

Women’s pro small ball singles

Men’s pro big ball doubles

Men’s B big ball doubles

Junior big ball singles

Men’s A small ball singles

Starting time: Play will begin at 7am (Saturday/Sunday), August 17 and August 18, 2024, in addition to under the lights play in the evening

Please bring plenty of water and hydrate. Temperatures expected to reach triple digits!!!

All players must be members of the WPH to participate. All entries and memberships must be paid on-line; not at the venue. Losers must referee the next match.

DV: David Vincent formed the World Players of Handball in 2005 and ushered live handball viewing into our living rooms for the first time. Since its inception, the World Players of Handball has broadcast over 1,500 matches live. Dave Vincent serves as the lead play-by-play announcer for virtually all matches, combining his unique perspective and personality with a lifetime of handball experience. DV brings 25 years of broadcast radio experience (in Oregon and California) to World Players of Handball & ESPN broadcasts and provides professionalism and wit to the amazing game of handball. DV also serves as the Executive Director of the World Player of Handball at the WPH headquarters in Tucson, AZ, working daily to grow the game of handball through innovation.
