The World Players of Handball is proud to present the 2023/24 Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier Schedule, featuring events for men’s and women’s players to earn travel stipends to the 2023/24 Race 4 Eight events of his or her choice.

2023/24 Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier Schedule

  • October 13-15, 2023 Texas A&M R48 Pre Qualifier – Enter HERE
  • October 21-22, 2023 Olympic Club R48 Pre Qualifier – Enter HERE
  • November 10-12, 2023 University of Texas R48 & WR48 Pre Qualifier – Enter HERE
  • December 8-9, 2023 LAAC R48 Pre Qualifier – Enter HERE

Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier Details

  • Players can compete in unlimited Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier throughout the season
  • The winner of each Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier will receive a $300 travel stipend to the 2023/24 Race 4 Eight event of his or her choice, to be redeemed upon the completion of the first match at the Race 4 Eight event of his or her choosing
  • The Race 4 Eight travel stipend is non-transferrable, meaning the stipend cannot be granted to the Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier finalist or any other player in the Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier draw
  • The 2023/24 Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier travel stipend must be used for an event during the 2023/24 Race 4 Eight season
  • Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifiers can be stand-alone events or held in conjunction with weekend tournaments
  • Hosts must notify the WPH a minimum of four weeks prior to the proposed Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier for sanctioning

DV also serves as the Executive Director of the World Player of Handball at the WPH headquarters in Tucson, AZ, working daily to grow the game of handball through innovation.
