WPH Tournament Preparation Series: Bill Mehilos

SR48 and R48 Star Bill Mehilos Breaks Down His Workout Plan

WPH Instructional, Indianapolis, IN

The WPH is thrilled to continue the WPH Tournament Preparation Series, taking you inside the tournament preparation of the game’s top players. In the WPH Tournament Preparation Series, you will learn what it takes for the sport’s best to condition themselves for the physical and mental rigors of pro level competition.

Bill Mehilos was a consistent qualifier and top 16 finisher in the WPH Pre Race tour from 2009-2011, regularly pushing the game’s top players to the limit. Mehilos took a nearly ten-year break from pro handball, returning full-time to the Race 4 Eight in 2021 in his early 40’s to finish the 2021/22 Race 4 Eight X season ranked 15th on the R48 Men’s Pro and #2 on the SR48.

Let’s find out how the Indianapolis Bulldog keeps himself in peak condition for the tour.

  • Track intervals 1x per week
