The Olympic Club’s Torres is one of the R48 tour’s most stylish players, appearing to make every swing effortless, while generating a tremendous amount of power with both hands. Torres owns one of the best left crack serves in the sport, seemingly able to roll the ball out off the left side wall as often as anyone in the game. Combining poise and desire to reach the top of the sport, the sky is truly the limit for Torres on the R48 tour.

6. Best off-hand in handball: Emmett Peixoto off hand. It can sometimes be better than his dominant hand

8. Favorite court: Just recently Campbell Community Center 3-Wall courts have been my favorite courts to play in

11. Most satisfying tournament victory: Semifinal 3 wall nationals victory
12. Most disappointing loss: In house Olympic club doubles finals loss in a 21-20 tiebreaker
13. Most important title to win: My in house Olympic club singles and doubles titles
14. Favorite doubles partner: Rene Lopez or Loren Collado
15. Longest match you ever played: In house doubles finals match, pushing close to 4 hours
16. Favorite sport besides handball: Volleyball
17. Favorite tournament: Any San Francisco south end tournament. Just really enjoy the location and hospitality
18. Best match you’ve ever played: Semifinal loss to Sean Lenning at the 3 wall nationals. I was just happy with my performance
19. Best match you’ve ever watched: Can’t pick one so I’ll just go with Sean Lenning vs Paul Brady at the simple green finals
20. Title you’d most like to win: I’d really like to win a 3-Wall nationals and then go on from there
21. Favorite sport to play besides handball: Still volleyball
22. Favorite athlete: Rafael Nadal

26. Most important shot in handball: Kill shot or pass. Really any shot that will end the rally
27. Your best shot: Not sure what’s my best shot but I really enjoy hitting a hard deep 2wall pass shot
28. Legend you’d most like to play in his prime: Although I got to play him passed his prime I would’ve really enjoyed to play Dave Chapman
29. Best Fans in Handball: My home crowd and any collegiate tournament
