WPH Rankings Post Juarez

Tucson, AZ, April 5th, 2023, Press-  Luis Cordova is literally stealing all of the points this season with wins at four of the first seven stops; meanwhile, Martin Mulkerrins remains at #2 and is Lucho’s biggest threat.

Six of eight stops are being counted toward the rankings, post Juarez, but that number will grow to seven of nine (post Tucson Hall of Fame and Pittsburgh’s RFC) and then eight of ten, post SLC Player’s Championship.

These LTE events matter too! Lucho’s 5.7 points counted heavily toward his current ranking; meanwhile, both of his biggest rivals (Carroll and Mulkerrins) could have added to their own season-point-totals had they attended/won.

*Ranking points for Senior 40+/Women/Elite Men’s Pros brings ‘double-the-points’ for The Player’s Championship.

The biggest story here is the bottle-neck at the 3rd-thru-5th spot(s) with all three players separated by just 1.2 points. Currently, Dave Fink is ranked #3 w/29.4 points. Killian Carroll occupies #4 w/29.2 points and Leo Canales stays at #5 with 28.2 points.

Shorty Ruiz (#7) has a very good chance of surpassing Daniel Cordova’s #6 ranking with a strong season finish; meanwhile, Max Langmack rounds-out the top 8 and is firmly planted there with 15 total season points (ahead of #9 Sam Esser’s 10.75).

As a side note, with a strong finish, #12 Sean Lenning could end up in the top eight if he attends the last few remaining stops.

….WE SHALL SEE!!
