Tucson, AZ, WPH Press, 11/21/16- Minnesota’s Race 4 Eight 6 Stop #2 featured breakout performances from Race 4 Eight veterans, multiple first-time Race 4 Eight qualifiers, the crowning of a new Race 4 Eight #1, and continued domination from the SR48 #1. Mando Ortiz became just the sixth player to be ranked #1 on the Race 4 Eight tour with his victory in Minnesota, David Fink jumped from #8 into the top five on the Race 4 Eight Power Rankings after advancing to his first final, Luis Moreno dropped out of the top five on the Race 4 Eight tour for the first time in history, and the Race 4 Eight welcomed first-time qualifiers Tyler Stoffel, Ryan Pesch, and Leo Canales. On the Senior Race 4 Eight, Marcos Chavez solidified his #1 ranking with a dominant victory in Minnesota, while Dan Armijo continued to dazzle in his 50’s, taking third for the second consecutive event.
