WPH Race4Eight Professional Handball Tour hits Houston, Texas, this weekend (March 3-5, 2017) – signalling the kick-off of Rodeo Month w/the Historic Houston Livestock & Rodeo! [Est. 2.5 million in attendance]

For us, however, we will be just down the street at the Tellespen Family YMCA in Downtown Houston where Five Players have a chance to hold or gain the number one ranking when the dust settles.  Lead by current #1, Armando Ortiz (CA), the tour finds hot competitors biting at his heels–Killian Carroll (IRE), David Fink (AZ), Sean Lenning (AZ) & Luis Moreno (AZ)!

The drama doesn’t end there either…

Since the WPH invites and supplies yearly season-ending bonuses to the top eight ranked players in attendance @ the Player’s Championship (April/Salt Lake City), there are even more scenarios being played out in Houston.  Can Luis Cordova (GA) move back into into the elite eight alongside brother Daniel Cordova (GA)?  Vic Perez (CA) now has a firm grasp as the last invite into the elite squad; however, his dreams could be squashed pending the outcomes of Marcos Chavez (CA), Jon Iglesias (CO), Andy Nett (MN), et al, who are just fractions away from stealing one of the list three roster positions. Not all about the men!

On Saturday in Houston, the WPH alongside ESPN3 will air a special women’s exhibition between pro newcomer, Aimee Ulbert (GA) & Hilary Rushe (IL).
