WPH R48Pro IV Stop #3 & SR48 Invade the Lone Star State: Jan 23-25th, 2015

Tucson, AZ, Press, 11/22/14-  The Texas State Handball Doubles returns to the Tellespen Family YMCA in Houston, Texas, this January 23rd-25th, 2015, as the World Players of Handball returns with the forth season of the Edtl Handball Race4Eight Tour; this time packing along some marketing punch when ESPN & the WatchESPN App gearing up to broadcast on Saturday and Sunday.

This open event allows ANY player to enter the Pro Qualifier bracket, Senior 40+ division or State Doubles!  Pro Qualifier begins Friday morning at 9am; meanwhile, All other divisions begin after 4pm, Friday, January 23rd.  “We ask that all pro participants contact us for updated rule changes and format tweaks,” says WPH Player’s Rep, Dave Fink.  “We have made some slight changes heading into this season, for the better, to include 15-15-15 main bracket pro round of sixteen’s and a slight alteration to the bad bounce rule.”  In addition, WPH pays $5,000 for first place in the Elite bracket and ALL top 16 players will get ranking points, cash and play-off experience.

Paul Brady (Ireland), Emmett Peixoto (CA), Sean Lenning (WA), David Fink (AZ), and Mando Ortiz (CA), plus other elite players have already booked their flights!

Senior Plus-40 players can enter the open event and play alongside the game’s former and current touring pros.  Want to see how you’d do against National Caliber 40+ players?  Entry is open to anyone 40 and over.

Texas State Doubles returns to Houston and you are invited (even out of state players are welcomed)!  We ask all participants to have a Player’s Card Holder; available at the WPH Web Store (www.thehandballstore.com); or purchase at the registration desk for $20.00.
