Message from tournament host, Bob Caluda:

   Dear Handballer:
Enclosed please find an entry form for our New Orleans Mardi Gras Open and WPH professional Race4Eight Stop. We hope you have the opportunity to come to New Orleans and enjoy our great city.
I’m sad to report that we have very few active handball players in the entire New Orleans metropolitan area.  Financing for this tournament is extremely difficult for such a small group and we are requesting your help with donations to help sponsor this amazing event (payable to New Orleans Handball Association).
We, of course, would also like you to participate in the tournament and/or attend as a spectator. The Best Western Plus Landmark Hotel (managed by one of our handball players) offers a great rate for the tournament; a suite rate of $119 .00 per night for executive tower suites and $89.00 per night for regular and deluxe annex rooms. The Best Western Plus Landmark is about a 10-15 minute drive from Elmwood Fitness Center (the tournament site). The Best Western is located at 2601 Severn Avenue in Metairie (telephone number 504-888-9500). When you reserve, the room block is under Mardi Gras Handball Tournament.  Within a 5 minute walking distance of the Elmwood Fitness Center is a Hampton Inn by Hilton; located at 5150 Mounes Blvd in Harahan, LA (telephone number is 504-733-5646).
Look forward to seeing you soon.  – Bob Caluda, Tournament Director

Tournament Venue Location:  Elmwood Fitness Center, 1200 South Clearview Parkway #1200, New Orleans, LA 70123 ~ Phone:(504) 733-1600
