The Big Easy, Jan 22-24, 2016- The WPH Live TV team takes to the highway once again as the new year turns, this time heading to the bayou state of Louisiana. Paul Brady, Sean Lenning, Luis Moreno, Emmett Peixoto, Mando Ortiz, David Fink, Stephen Cooney, Daniel Cordova and a ban of top performing qualifiers will all vie for the $5,000 first place cash trophy and over $15k in the purse. I’m sad to report that we have very few active handball players in the entire New Orleans metropolitan area. Financing for this tournament is extremely difficult for such a small group and we are requesting your help with donations to help sponsor this amazing event (payable to New Orleans Handball Association).
We, of course, would also like you to participate in the tournament and/or attend as a spectator. The Best Western Plus Landmark Hotel (managed by one of our handball players) offers a great rate for the tournament; a suite rate of $119 .00 per night for executive tower suites and $89.00 per night for regular and deluxe annex rooms.
