WPH Outdoor WallBall Rankings: Post Salt Lake ’16

Salt Lake City, UT-  43 year old Marcos Chavez (CA) nearly stunned the young ballers with a finals win on Sunday in Salt Lake City, but Juan Santos (CA) has proven he can compete on all surfaces with a very cool 4 wall victory last Sunday (April 18th); Santos took the Nietos 3 Wall Courts Yellow 45 days ago, then followed with a 1 wall finals appearance before nabbing his first ever 4 wall crown in the land of Zion.  This victory holds off the hot-moving Timothy Gonzalez (NY) who is heading to the top of the charts with a bullet after a nice showing in Salt Lake and a slam in Downey (that earned him 10 points for singles and 10 more for doubles).

Although Kevin Gonzalez (CA) didn’t participate in Salt Lake City, he is still very secure at the #4 spot; meanwhile, Samzon Hernandez (CA), once a powerhouse atop the list, has faded with multiple mid-tournament no-shows or last minute un-announced absences; all of which has helped push the one time explosive machine into idle at #15.

The next ranked event is Vegas Sin city 3 Wall Shootout, May 20th-22nd and it will bring full points!  Special Hotel Rates are available so enter or get your info now!  HERE>

How we do it:

Rankings include A Singles and A Doubles results from the RD 8 to 1st Place and may take a player’s best results from four divisions if 1 Wall or Mixed Doubles is offered.  Points are allotted as: 1st 10pts, 2nd 8pts, 3rd 7pts (6pts if only semifinals), 4th 6pts, 5th-8th 4pts, (player(s) must win at least one match to get points when applicable; player may lose points if no-show or forfeit).  Some stops bring .50 points (Ie. Iceman Stockton winners receive 5 points for singles and doubles, as opposed to 10).  Questions?  Contact the WPH: info@wphlive.tv.  WPH will seed events by giving the #1 player and #2 player the #1 & #2 seeds, respectively.  #3 and #4 ranked pros will be seeded #3 & #4 by coin flip.  #5-#8 will be pulled out of a hat in a blind draw.  #9-#16 will then be drawn from a hat in a blind draw.
