The World Players of Handball Foundation is thrilled to present the second coming of the Icebreaker 3-Wall series and the eleventh edition of the Race 4 Eight professional handball tour, featuring the game’s best players on handball’s biggest stage.
 
The Icebreaker Series was created in 2020 to provide players and fans with the opportunity to compete and watch handball during the pandemic–There’s been 12 men’s and women’s events held at Tucson’s Clark Park, since! Meanwhile, the Race 4 Eight pro tour was created in 2011 and has held 70 events in 17 states; averaging between 6 and 9 stops per season, with thousands of fans and players having the opportunity to watch and compete against the top players in the world. Over 50% of all handball matches played on tour since 2014 have aired on ESPN …and 2022/23 will be no different!

DV: David Vincent formed the World Players of Handball in 2005 and ushered live handball viewing into our living rooms for the first time. Since its inception, the World Players of Handball has broadcast over 1,500 matches live. Dave Vincent serves as the lead play-by-play announcer for virtually all matches, combining his unique perspective and personality with a lifetime of handball experience. DV brings 25 years of broadcast radio experience (in Oregon and California) to World Players of Handball & ESPN broadcasts and provides professionalism and wit to the amazing game of handball. DV also serves as the Executive Director of the World Player of Handball at the WPH headquarters in Tucson, AZ, working daily to grow the game of handball through innovation.
