WPH Memory Mondays: Nick Flores

WPH Press

The WPH is thrilled to present to WPH Memory Mondays (video) during the ongoing handball quarantine, featuring your favorite Race 4 Eight pros discussing their favorite handball memories, who inspired them to become a Race 4 Eight pro, their favorite tournament and the best player they’ve ever played. You won’t dread Monday mornings any longer!

Nick Flores is the Pacific Northwest’s handball pioneer and one of the WPH’s greatest contributors, buying a 50-year WPH membership in 2018, regularly entering R48 Qualifiers, volunteering on the Race 4 Eight rankings committee and serving as a Race 4 Eight lead referee and color analyst at all of the stops he attends. The Chairman of the Oregon Association Handball Committee jumps into the R48 broadcast booth and referee’s perch seamlessly, as though he’s attended every R48 event. A student of the game and the history of the sport, Flores is at ease dissecting a match in the booth and making the tough calls from the hot seat.

Nick loves to talk handball and WPH Memory Monday gave him the chance. Enjoy!
