WPH Big Ball Icebreaker #2, Sept 18, 2021

The WPH is thrilled to present the second Big Ball Icebreaker singles event of 2021 at Clark Park (200 S Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ 85711). The September 18 Big Ball Icebreaker will be a one-day event, starting at 7 am PST and ending in the early afternoon.

What you need to know:

  • Play starts at 7 am PST at Clark Park
  • Limited to the first 24 players to enter (must enter online)
  • All matches will be on game to 21, win by two
  • Traditional scoring (only the server can score)

  • Players will ref their own
  • Bring A LOT of water (at least 120 ounces)
  • The top three finishers will earn prize money

Dave Vincent serves as the lead play-by-play announcer for virtually all matches, combining his unique perspective and personality with a lifetime of handball experience. DV brings 25 years of broadcast radio experience (in Oregon and California) to World Players of Handball & ESPN broadcasts and provides professionalism and wit to the amazing game of handball. DV also serves as the Executive Director of the World Player of Handball at the WPH headquarters in Tucson, AZ, working daily to grow the game of handball through innovation.
