WPH Icebreakers #7: 3-Wall Small Ball Women’s Pro Singles
The WPH is proud to present the WPH Icebreaker #7, the seventh official WPH 3-Wall Singles Icebreakers since September of 2020.
“We want to show people that we can safely hold events with all of the COVID protocols in place,” stated WPH Executive Director David Vincent. “We allow a limited number of socially distant fans, while ensuring the players are distanced as much as possible. The Icebreaker is our way of “breaking the ice” during the pandemic and reintroducing pro handball to the world.”
The WPH Icebreaker #7 featured women’s stars Danielle Daskalakis, Tracy Davis, Ashley Moler, and Mikaila Mitchell competing at Tucson’s Clark Park in Tucson.
Women’s Semifinal #2: Ashley Moler vs. Tracy Davis
Ashley Moler and Tracy Davis have seemingly met in every event in which both have entered in the last 12 years, either in the quarterfinals, semifinals, finals, third place final, fifth place final, or doubles, with virtually every meeting decided in a tiebreaker or overtime. The seventh Icebreaker would be no exception, as these former Tucson sparring partners met for a spot in the Icebreaker #7 final. Who would win in this battle of former 3-Wall national singles champions?
