Las Cruces, NM, WPH Press, 11/13/24

WPH Outdoor stars Sal “Wiz” Duenas (CA) and Alberto Pizano (AZ) claimed the 2024 Las Cruces Big Ball Doubles at Lions Park in Las Cruces, NM on the last weekend in October, defeating Noe Arenas and Jesus Luna in two games in the final. Team Wiz/Pizano outlasted sixteen teams in the one-day, doubles elimination format in the Las Cruces Open Doubles bracket

“The Open Event at Lions Park in Las Cruces is always a nice trip to meet the community and get good competition,” stated the Wiz. “Being thirty mins from El Paso TX, the short trip offers cool scenery and additional playing outlets with different players and new talent. I look forward to this event every year and thanks to Omar Alberto and Josue Salas who frequently run events here at this location and locals and friends for the hospitality. Shout out to Digiflex For sponsorship and gear. Looking forward to next year.”

Huge thanks to tournament director Omar Alberto for a great event.
