“The WPH is excited to partner with the Washington Athletic Club and tournament directors Darin Barr and Randy Multack in adding the R48 Pre Qualifier to the 2026 WAC Classic,” stated the WPH’s David Fink. “The Men’s Open Singles winner at the 2026 WAC Classic will be the WAC R48 Pre Qualifier champion, earning a travel stipend and entry into one of the remaining four stops on the 2025/26 Race 4 Eight season. The WAC was home to the first two Race 4 Eight Player’s Championships and we are thrilled to team with the WAC team in 2026 in presenting the R48 Pre Qualifier at the WAC Classic.”
