Tucson, AZ, WPH/USHA Press, 5/18/18- The USHA and WPH are thrilled to announce a partnership in supporting Team USA and broadcasting the 2018 World Handball Championships & USHA Four-Wall Nationals from Minneapolis, MN.
The 2018 World Handball Championships & USHA Four-Wall Nationals will feature 4-Wall and WallBall (1-Wall) singles and doubles, with the WallBall starting on August 9 and the 4-Wall starting on August 13. The special Parade of Nations ceremony will take place on August 12. The event will be held at two locations, with the Life Tine Target Center, located at 600 1st Ave. N., Minneapolis, MN 55403 and the University of Minnesota Recreation and Wellness Center, located at 123 Southeast Harvard St., Minneapolis, MN 55455 serving as the two venues. Players will be permitted to play in up to four divisions (two WallBall and two 4-Wall).

The USHA and WPH are seeking your help to send our best players to compete at the World Championships. Team USA players will be outfitted and provided with travel support for the week in Minnesota, as the best 4-Wall and WallBall players in the U.S. will proudly represent the red, white, and blue. “I have worked really hard at improving my overall handball game,” stated Team USA member and defending WallBall world champion Danielle Daskalakis. “I am extremely excited and honored to be a part of Team USA. I’ve played in a lot of tournaments but nothing compares to the World Championships. It doesn’t get any bigger than this event and I’m coming for the gold again. Winning gold as part of Team USA makes it that much sweeter. I look forward to the event and I will work my hardest to represent the country well.”
“It is an absolute honor to represent the USA at the World Championships in Minnesota,” stated Team USA member and former WPH #1 Emmett Peixoto. “I will be training exceptionally hard in order to be a welcome addition to Team USA and give our country the best shot at taking home the men’s singles title.”
