Day 1
The 2022 USHA Four Wall Nationals kicked off on Day 1 of the 2022 USHA Four Wall Nationals at Portland’s Multnomah Athletic Club, with the Men’s Open Singles field highlighting the action with round of 32 and round of 16 matches.
This year’s USHA Four Wall Nationals promises a new champion, as none of the players entered have won a prestigious USHA Four Wall National title.
Two-time national finalist and top seeded Martin Mulkerrins advanced to quarterfinals on Wednesday, as did second-seeded Sean Lenning, third-seeded Diarmaid Nash, and fourth and fifth seeds Sam Esser and Shorty Ruiz. Ray Ure upset sixth-seeded Abraham Montijo to advance to Thursday’s quarterfinals, while Max Langmack and David Walsh also booked spots in the final eight.
