Tucson, AZ, WPH Press, 10/30/16- Junior WPH is proud to sponsor The Tucson Memorial Handball Open, honoring players and friends of the sport the handball the community has lost. The Memorial will be held from November 4th-6th at the Tucson Racquet Club, 4001 N. Country Club Rd, Tucson, AZ 85716.

“The Tucson Memorial Handball Open was designed to honor and celebrate friends and family of the sport, that have passed, with the hopes of highlighting their life achievements, archiving their legacies, and sharing their stories,” stated Memorial tournament director Scott Cleveland.

The Memorial will feature top 16 WPH Race 4 Eight pros Sean Lenning, Luis Moreno, Emmett Peixoto, David Fink, Jonathan Iglesias, and Abraham Montijo competing in singles and doubles to honor those no longer with us in the handball community. Juniors from Tucson and Mexico will also compete in junior singles and doubles divisions, as well as the third edition of the “Battle of the Border.” The pros and juniors will be joined by dozens of age division and amateur players from the Southwest and across the country. Each player and supporter of The Memorial is encouraged to send information about a loved-one or friend of the sport that has passed away to honor their legacy.
