Tolleson Fall Open Sponsored by WPH

Tournament directors Eddie Flores, Albert Iniguez, and Carlos Perea proudly hosted the 2024 Tolleson Fall Open Sponsored by WPH at the Tolleson Union High School handball courts in Tolleson, AZ. Fourteen players entered the Big Ball Open Singles and eight teams entered the Big Ball Open Doubles on the last Saturday in October.

Open Singles

“Victor had a tough road to finals facing the toughest side of the bracket,” reported co-tournament director Carlos Perea. Victor faced Perea in the final, taking the title by keeping Perea in the back court. “Victor is one of the top players in Phoenix,” Perea would later say.

Open Doubles

“The doubles was a war of attrition, as Albert Iniguez and Janathan Diaz fought off Eddie Flores and Raul Perez to take the win,” stated Perea.

The WPH provided shirts for the winners and finalists, as well as balls for the event. Thank you to tournament directors Eddie Flores, Albert Iniguez, and Carlos Perea for growing the game in Phoenix/Tolleson.
