The World Players of Handball Foundation R48 Pre Qualifier

The Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier

The Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier is back, with the winner of each R48 Men’s Pro or WR48 Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier earning a $300 travel stipend to the Race 4 Eight event of his or her choice. 

Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier Rules:

  • Open to all players, including the R48 Men’s Pro Elite 8 and all WR48 pros
  • Events must apply for a WPH sanctioned Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier a minimum of four weeks prior to the proposed Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier event
  • The Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier can be a stand alone/one-day event, or be held in conjunction with a weekend tournament 
  •   Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier champions will receive the $300 stipend after completing their first match at the Race 4 Eight event of their choice – only the Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier champion is eligible for the $300 travel stipend. If the Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier champion cannot attend a Race 4 Eight event during the season in which he or she qualified, the travel stipend cannot be transferred to the finalist or anyone else in the draw

Since 2017, R48 Pre Qualifiers have been held in Pittsburgh, Tucson, Austin, L.A., San Francisco, Salt Lake City and Portland, creating tremendous excitement for players and fans. The WPH is proud to provide extensive promotion, real-time and post coverage of all Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifiers.
