The USHA 1-Wall Small Ball Junior Nationals Is Back!

New York, NY, WPH Press, 4/18/17- The United States Handball Association is proud to sanction the USHA 1-Wall Small Ball Junior Nationals June 10-11, 2017 at Coney Island’s world famous 1-Wall handball courts next to the New York Aquarium.

The World Players of Handball is thrilled to join the USHA, ICHA, Flushing Bank, Glenn and Kristina Hall, and Jared Vale in sponsoring the event and providing opportunities for youngsters from across North America to compete against one another in one of the most fun junior handball events in the country.

“Our goal is to include junior players from Canada, the west coast, and across the U.S. to come to New York to play in this great event,” stated co-tournament sponsor Glenn Hall. “Our sponsors have raised money to provide travel funds for deserving players from across North America and we are so excited for them to experience 1-Wall Small Ball handball in New York. Our goal is for them to build relationships with our New York City junior 1-Wall players and to go back home and introduce the 1-Wall Small Ball game to their friends.”

“I was fortunate to have played in the USHA 1-Wall Small Ball Junior Nationals as a 16-year-old 23 years ago and it was an experience I’ll never forget,” stated WPH Development Director and WPH #1 pro David Fink. “I made friends at the tournament that I’m still friends with today. The WPH is thrilled to sponsor players from across the country and Canada to participate in this great event, including current USHA 4-Wall junior national champions David Sanchez III (CA) and Michael Gaulton (CAN).”
