Updated 2017 Women’s WPH Outdoor Rankings
Tucson, AZ, WPH Press, 7/15/17- The 2017 Women’s WPH Outdoor hosted its second event of the season at the 2017 WPH RFC 9 in Pittsburgh, PA, featuring an exciting Xrossover 1-Wall Small Ball/Big Ball round robin format. Both Tracy Davis and Catriona Casey went undefeated in the 1-Wall Small Ball and 1-Wall Big Ball round robin brackets before facing one another, setting up thrilling finals in both brackets. Davis clinched the 1-Wall Small Ball, while Casey clinched the 1-Wall Big Ball. By virtue of scoring more combined points in the two brackets, Casey chose to play the 11-point decider with the Big Ball. With the score tied at seven in the one game to 11 decider, Davis reeled off four consecutive points to take the title and the #1 Women’s WPH Outdoor ranking. What an event!
