WPH Holiday Cup Tucson City Amateur Championship on December 9

Tucson, AZ, WPH Press, 11/29/17- The WPH is thrilled to present the WPH Holiday Cup Tucson Amateur Championship (TAC) at 11 am on Saturday, December 9 at the Tucson Racquet Club, showcasing the best non-pro players in the hottest 4 wall city around–Tucson, Arizona! The TAC will be played alongside the JR WPH Holiday Cup, featuring the JR WPH Collegiate Singles Championship and the JR WPH Battle of the Border 6 (more info on the JR WPH Holiday Cup here).

The TAC is open to non-pro players from Tucson and beyond–expect to see non-pro stars from Tucson, El Paso, Juarez, Phoenix, and more!

Tucson City Amateur Singles Championship

When: Saturday, December 9 (one-day only)

Where: Tucson Racquet Club (4001 N. Country Club Rd. Tucson, AZ 85716)

Time: 11 am-3 pm

Rules: All matches are one game to 25 or one game to 21, depending on draw size

Who is eligible: All players that are not currently ranked on the Men’s R48 tour

Entry fee: $20

Ball: WPH R48 pro

Prizes: Title of 2017 Tucson City Amateur Champion, Medal, WPH jersey

Registration: register by emailing David Fink at fink@race4eight.com or register on-site between 10:30-10:45 am at the TRC on Saturday, December 9

DV brings 25 years of broadcast radio experience (in Oregon and California) to World Players of Handball & ESPN broadcasts and provides professionalism and wit to the amazing game of handball. DV also serves as the Executive Director of the World Player of Handball at the WPH headquarters in Tucson, AZ, working daily to grow the game of handball through innovation.
