WallBall Worldwide proudly hosted the Golden Ticket Campbell Classic 1-Wall and 3-Wall WallBall tournament at the Campbell Community Center Handball Courts in Campbell, CA, featuring many of the world’s best 1-Wall and 3-Wall big ball stars on the last weekend of August.
The 1-Wall field included the best from both coasts, headlined by New York stars Tywan Cook and David Velez and Southern California stars Chava Cordova and Oscar Sordia. The 32-man draw was trimmed to two on a grueling day of handball on Campbell, with 2022 King of the Courts David Velez facing the 2022 Impact Pro U.S. Open champion Tywan Cook in the final. Cook added another major title to his glittering resume in the final, leaving the King to settle for second.
The 32-player 3-Wall field was equally impressive, as 3-Wall legend Samzon Hernandez was joined by Chava Cordova, Oscar Sordia, and many more top players. Southern Californians Cordova and Sordia advanced to the final, with Cordova sweeping all of his opponents in two games on his way to the final and Sordia surviving two tiebreakers in his four matches en route to the final. Cordova continued his stellar play in the final, clinching the Golden Ticket title.
