Tournament director Jed Mengel and the Iowa handball community are proud to present the 77th Tallcorn Tournament & Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier, September 18-20, 2026 at the Des Moines Wellmark YMCA. Men’s and Women’s small ball singles open, age division, and skill level brackets will be offered. The Men’s Open singles bracket will serve as a Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier.
“The WPH is thrilled to partner with the historic Tallcorn tournament for the second consecutive year in the Tallcorn’s seventy-seventh year,” stated the WPH’s David Fink. “The winner of the Tallcorn Men’s Open Singles will earn a $300 travel stipend and a free entry into a 2026/27 Race 4 Eight event of his choice. The Tallcorn is always a tremendous event with a great field and adding the Race 4 Eight qualifier will only add to the excitement.”
