The 71st USHA National Three Wall Championships Wraps

Maumee, OH, 9/5/22

The USHA hosted nearly 200 players for the annual end of summer Three Wall Championships in Maumee, with divisions for virtually every level of player in both small ball and big ball.

Men’s Open Singles

Sean Lenning added to his record total of Three Wall national titles in a hybrid event that saw the finals played indoors. Lenning cruised to the final with wins against Bill Mehilos and Abraham Montijo before Sunday rains forced Lenning and Canales, Jr. to play their final at the Bowling Green State University 4-Wall courts. Lenning found himself tied at seven in the tiebreaker and was able to reel off four straight points to keep his streak at the Three Wall Nationals intact. Canales continued his rise, making his first pro national final and coming up just a few swings short of his first pro singles national title.
