The WPH Outdoor Icebreaker pro series returns for its sixth season, having hosted twenty-eight Icebreakers events since the inaugural Icebreaker in the summer of 2020.

WPH camera crews have been on hand to bring all of the action to you from the WPH’s Clark Park in Tucson, as the game’s best have made their way to the desert to compete for the now famous ice plunge.

The 2025 Icebreaker pro series will feature the first Icebreaker outside of Tucson at the famous Lagrange tournament (July) and the Ice Bowl (August) and the December Icebreaker at the WPH’s Clark Park in Tucson.

The WPH created the Icebreaker 3-Wall pro tour Championship to “break the ice” during the pandemic, allowing the best handball players in the world to compete and showcase their talents to the world. The Icebreaker tour has attracted virtually all of the best players from North America, providing riveting theatre for the WPH’s worldwide audience. Prior to the WPH Outdoor Icebreaker pro series, WPH Outdoor hosted more than one hundred outdoor events in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Florida.

DV: David Vincent formed the World Players of Handball in 2005 and ushered live handball viewing into our living rooms for the first time. Since its inception, the World Players of Handball has broadcast over 1,500 matches live. Dave Vincent serves as the lead play-by-play announcer for virtually all matches, combining his unique perspective and personality with a lifetime of handball experience. DV brings 25 years of broadcast radio experience (in Oregon and California) to World Players of Handball & ESPN broadcasts and provides professionalism and wit to the amazing game of handball. DV also serves as the Executive Director of the World Player of Handball at the WPH headquarters in Tucson, AZ, working daily to grow the game of handball through innovation.
