The Minnesota State Handball Association and tournament director Mike Kloos were proud to present the 2026 MSHA State Open Doubles Championships at Lifetime Fitness, Fridley, on the last weekend in March.
The 2026 MSHA State Open Doubles Championships featured Open, skill level, and age division doubles brackets. Players were treated to outstanding hospitality throughout the event.
Men’s Open Doubles Final: Team Pesch/Burke def Team Foley 21-9, 21-13
Former Race 4 Eight pro and Assistant Attorney General at the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office Ryan Pesch teamed with Brian Burke to dominate the MSHA Open Doubles, defeating Team Quinn and Donivan Foley in two games in the final.
“Pesch is playing tougher ball than I can ever remember at the moment,” Quinn Foley would later say. “Very hot hand. We held our own but we weren’t going to get thru him this weekend. No excuses, was a fun game and we had our stretches and chances there in game two.”
Thank you to tournament director Mike Kloos and the MSHA for a great event.
