Senior Doubles Quarters

The top four seeds are all safely through to the All-Ireland Men’s Senior Doubles SF’s after the weekends action.

#1 seeds Paul Brady & Michael Finnegan (Cavan) were the only pairing to win in straight games when they saw off recently crowned Singles champion Martin Mulkerrins & his younger brother Diarmuid. The Funchion brothers came out on top of a three game cracker against 2015 Finalists Brian Carroll & Tom Sheridan (Meath) to set up a SF v Cavan.

In the bottom half, last years finalists Diarmuid Nash & Colin Crehan (Clare) were forced to a tiebreak before seeing off Kerry, whilst 2016 champs Eoin Kennedy & Carl Browne recovered from a slow start to defeat Wexford, also in a tiebreak.
