R48, WR48, and SR48 Rankings Post 2024 Memorial

The thirteenth Race 4 Eight season kicked off with the 2024 Tucson Memorial at the Tucson Racquet Club, with the R48 Men’s pros, WR48, and SR48 pros in action.

The top four ranked R48 Men’s Pros advanced to the semifinals at the 2024 Memorial, with R48 #1 Martin Mulkerrins and R48 #2 Lucho Cordova meeting in the final. Mulkerrins added to his lead in the pole position with a dominating performance at the Memorial, while the Cordovas remained at number two and three. Killian Carroll dropped out of the top eight after skipping the 2024 Memorial, opening the door for Ivan Burgos to climb into the top eight with an impressive fifth place finish. The R48 Men will be back in action October 4-6 at the Portland Classic at the Multnomah Athletic Club. 

Ciana Ni Churraoin won her first WR48 title in her seventh final, pushing her to number two in the WR48 rankings. Clodagh Munroe’s finals appearance in Tucson vaulted her from number eight to number four, while Mikaila Esser’s fourth place Memorial finish dropped her from number two to number three.

David Fink maintained his SR48 top spot with his fifteenth SR48 title at the 2024 Memorial, while Dave Munson retained his number two spot by making his second SR48 final in three starts at the Memorial. Alex Garcia moved into the SR48 top three for the first time with an impressive third-place finish at the Memorial.
