Olascon Slams the 2026 Fred Bancalari SuperBowl Shootout

Bay Club Pleasanton and tournament directors Sean Haley, Terry Britt, and Jon Bancalari were proud to host the 2026 Fred Bancalari SuperBowl Shootout on the first weekend of February, featuring 64 players competing in singles and doubles brackets.

Men’s Open Singles

Chava Olascon defended his Bancalari SuperBowl singles title the 2026 Fred Bancalari SuperBowl Shootout, defeating Chad Packin in the semifinals and Peter Jansen in the final without dropping a game.

“The final was a hard-fought battle,” co-tournament director Haley would later say. “Back-to-back open titles for Chava. Solid victory and great play in addition to bringing an army of junior crossover big ballers to play! Chava is a beauty. Tough player, great person.”

Chava teamed with Joel Martinez to win the open doubles, defeating Team Whitney/Jansen in two games.
