The Wisconsin Athletic Club played host to one of the biggest tournaments in the Midwest on the first weekend of December, as many of the game’s top players gathered at the WAC for the prestigious Milwaukee Classic title.

Killian Carroll continued his torrid winning streak in Brew City, overcoming Ross Colyer (MO), Loren Collado (CA), Ray Ure (IL), and Lucho Cordova (MEX) to win the title. “Killian was in full control, running off big leads and winning the final in two games,” stated Max Langmack.

Carroll appears poised to reclaim the USHA national four wall title next week in Nashville, but will have to contend with 11-time national champion Paul Brady, All Ireland champion Martin Mulkerrins, and a number of the Race 4 Eight’s best.

Semifinals

Carroll def Ure 21-17, 21-5

Lucho def Lenning 21-19, 21-8

Final: Carroll def Lucho 21-4, 21-5

Women’s Pro Singles

Several of the top women’s players were also in action at The Mil, as WPH Icebreaker Ice Bowl champion Danielle Daskalakis (NY) entered The Mil as the top seed and former WR48 finalist Aimee Tuohey (WI) was seeded second. Daskalakis met Tuohey in the final, with Tuohey taking the first game and standing two points from the match in game two. Double D rallied to force a third, but AT was too strong in the decider, taking the prestigious Classic title.

Women’s Final: Tuohey def Daskalakis 21-14, 19-21, 11-7
