Langmack Slams at LaGrange, Dorneker Takes the Women’s

WPH Press

WPH Icebreaker pro Max Langmack slammed the 31st Annual LaGrange 3-Wall tournament, dominating the singles and doubles. Langmack entered LaGrange as the number one seed and ousted Santos Hernandez in the round of 16, Anthony Sullivan in the quarterfinals, Dave Schiller in the semifinals, and Marcos Lemus in the final. Langmack did not drop a game en route to the singles title. Langmack teamed with Chris Storm to take the doubles.

“The tournament went well,” stated Langmack. “My serve was working all weekend and I used it to keep my opponents off balance.” Langmack will hope to parlay his LaGrange momentum at the Ice Bowl, the WPH Icebreaker Championship in August.

Final: Langmack def M. Lemus 21-6, 21-6

Megan Dorneker overcame Aimee Tuohey in an 11-10 tiebreaker thriller in the women’s final.
