Junior WPH Teaching Handball to Thousands

Tucson, AZ, WPH Press, 8/26/16- JR WPH has been extremely active in 2016, coaching hundreds of handball clinics for thousands of new and experienced junior handball players in the first eight months of 2016. JR WPH has hosted clinics in Colorado, New York, Florida, Louisiana, California, Arizona, Utah, Oregon, Nevada, Canada, Pennsylvania, Mexico, and Mississippi thus far in 2016, with all of the clinics featuring structured, challenging, and fun handball curriculums with WPH Certified Coaches. Each JR WPH clinic focuses on teaching handball fundamentals, developing an active lifestyle and embracing sportsmanship, camaraderie, independence, and teamwork through handball.

The summer of 2016 has been exceptionally exciting, as JR WPH has hosted or sponsored junior handball summer camps in Tucson, AZ, Juarez, Mexico, and San Francisco, CA, as well as JR WPH summer mega tournaments and clinics in New York City, Pittsburgh, PA, and Orange County, CA.

JR WPH clinics and tournaments are possible because of our extremely generous donors and our extremely passionate and skilled WPH coaches.

DV: David Vincent formed the World Players of Handball in 2005 and ushered live handball viewing into our living rooms for the first time. Since its inception, the World Players of Handball has broadcast over 1,500 matches live. Dave Vincent serves as the lead play-by-play announcer for virtually all matches, combining his unique perspective and personality with a lifetime of handball experience. DV brings 25 years of broadcast radio experience (in Oregon and California) to World Players of Handball & ESPN broadcasts and provides professionalism and wit to the amazing game of handball. DV also serves as the Executive Director of the World Player of Handball at the WPH headquarters in Tucson, AZ, working daily to grow the game of handball through innovation.
