Houston’s Ron Cole Honored

Fountain Valley, CA, WPH Press, 7/2/19-  The World Players of Handball Foundation was thrilled to honor Houston’s Race 4 Eight tournament director and donor Ron Cole with the WPH Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring Ron for his incredible generosity and extraordinary efforts in sponsoring and hosting the Race 4 Eight tour in Houston since 2013. Largely due to Ron, Houston is one of the Race 4 Eight’s best events, complete with outstanding player and fan dinners, unlimited hospitality, and one of the best facilities on tour.
 
The prestigious award was presented on behalf on the World Players of Handball staff and board of directors, as well as the Race 4 Eight pros.
 
“This is really special and I am so grateful,” stated Ron. “I just love this game and doing whatever I can to help grow it.”
 
The day before receiving the WPH Lifetime Achievement Award, Ron was awarded his USHA Grand Master sweater for winning ten USHA National Masters Championships. What a week!
