At St. Louis Hinder Club (SLHC), we pride ourselves on our dedication to the sport of handball. Our journey has not been without challenges, but it has only made us stronger as a team.

Recently, we were notified that our Arnold facility lease would not be renewed beyond 2024. It was time to find a new home for our club, and we were thrilled to discover a former racquetball/handball facility at 8701 Dunn Road, Hazelwood, MO. With our new location, SLHC will be one of the only Handball Member Owned & Operated Clubs in the Country! The full amount of the purchase price will be financed under favorable terms offered by the lender, a good and generous friend of SLHC.

The term of the fixed rate loan is five years with two one-year extension options. The appraisal value of the property is in excess of the purchase price, negotiated down from the asking price. We hope to secure and build a ‘club to call home’ for all future Handball generations, and to keep the Sport of Handball alive!

Our campaign starts “at home”, with our 100+ dedicated handball players and loyal SLHC members. In the first month of the campaign, we have firm commitments of just over $250,000 from a significant portion of our club members. Our sites are set on a goal of $500,000 from local and national efforts.
