Harry Kressler September 16th, 1952 – Jan 19th, 2015

Harry Kressler was born in Heidelberg, Germany on September 16, 1952 and peacefully left us January 19, 2015. He came to the U.S. at the age of 13 and eventually made his home in Tucson. In 1977, he married Suzi Davis and they had three children, Sheila, Kelly, and Harrison. His love for family extended to his surviving sisters, brothers, nieces, nephew, and sons-in-law. He also found much joy with his three grandchildren. His second family was the Pima Prevention Partnership. With passion and dedication, he worked tirelessly to serve others, especially kids, as the Founder and Executive Director. We love our Dad and know he will be watching over all of us until we meet again. We also know he would be ticked that obits are so expensive, so our mom suggests we wrap this up. One of dad’s gems of wisdom was, “when in doubt, don’t.” So, we didn’t.

The Tucson Memorial Handball Open was designed to honor and celebrate friends and family of the sport, that have passed, with hopes of highlighting their life achievements, archiving their legacies, and sharing their stories. If you have stories or commentary about Harry Kressler or others close to you, please contact us and we will post.
