Kansas City, KS, WPH Press, 6/22/25

The Kansas City Athletic Club proudly presented the 2025 Tim Nass KC 3-Wall tournament on the third weekend in June, honoring KCAC member Tim Nass. One of the Midwest’s premiere 3-Wall destinations, the KCAC provided outstanding hospitality and competition for the nearly four dozen tournament players.

Men’s Open Singles

Hector Facio, Jr. repeated at the Nass, defeating Anthony Menedez in the quarterfinals, “Chopper” Hernandez in the semifinals, and winning via forfeit in the final against a cramping Chip Morales.

“Trying to get my body in handball shape,” stated former Race 4 Eight top 12 pro Chip Morales. “It’s very hot and humid out here, 100 degrees on court. I played three matches on Saturday and I was cramping in the third match. I was looking forward to playing Hector because he is very strong. He has a good serve and deep game and he’s very smart on the court.”
