The Hop Artist
WPH Patreon Press
“Danos Cordova Week” concludes on Patreon with a WPH Patreon exclusive interview with Danos Cordova: The Hop Artist. We’ve seen Danos’ WPH Rapid Fire Challenge, Crunched the Numbers of his best career win, Revisited his Classic Match with Diarmaid Nash, and now we’ll go in depth with Danos on everything from his Lake Forest College Handball experience, his inspirations to become a Race 4 Eight pro, his favorite pros to watch as a junior, his toughest rivals, his match satisfying and disappointing moments, his advice for the next generation and much more!
Danos combines a unique blend of power, speed, versatility, and hops with one of the greatest attitudes on tour to take down great players. Danos is widely regarded by his peers as having the strongest off-hand and best hop serve on the tour. Danos makes up half of the “Flying Cordovas,” with both he and brother Lucho earning their nicknames by diving, sliding, and flying all over the court to make outrageous retrieves. Danos is one of the game’s most exciting stars and regularly draws some of the largest galleries at virtually all of his R48 starts.
